At BYAF, we are committed to ensuring that you are completely satisfied with your purchase. If you receive a faulty product, we take full responsibility for compensating you. However, please note that all made-to-order items are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
During our sale period, all purchases of sale items will be final, and we will be unable to process any refunds or exchanges.
To initiate a return for a refund or exchange, please email us at info@by-af.com within 3 days of receipt with your purchase number, item number, and the reason for returning the item.
Please note that all items are your responsibility until they reach us, so we recommend using a reliable courier for returning items. Additionally, delivery fees for returning items are your responsibility.
We cannot accept any items that have been damaged or worn. To ensure that your return is accepted, please do not remove or dispose of the original packaging before thoroughly inspecting the item, and return it in its original packaging.
Once we receive the returned item, we will issue a full refund, excluding original delivery fees, or exchange the item as per your request, if available. We will process your refund within 72 hours of receiving your return, and your credit card company may take 4-7 working days to credit your account.
For overseas returns, please mark the packages as ‘returned items’ on the customs declaration forms to avoid unnecessary duty fees and delays in customs. Please note that international customs duties and sales taxes are not refunded for shipments.

HOW DO I CARE FOR MY PRODUCT?
Our men's jewelry products are made with sterling silver and plated in either yellow gold or platinum. It's important to avoid exposing them to certain chemicals and environments, such as perspiration, perfume, cleaning agents, chlorine, saltwater, creams, chemicals, and silver polish, as they can compromise their quality.
For our platinum-plated pieces, please keep in mind that while they are made with sterling silver and plated in platinum, they may tarnish over time, especially when exposed to chemical agents like perfume, salty air, Sulphur, creams, hairspray, chlorine, and water/salty water. To prevent tarnish and maintain their luster, use a soft polishing cloth to clean them.
For our gold-plated pieces, please note that they are made with sterling silver and plated in gold. Exposure to chemicals, perfume, oil, moisture, soil, and creams can affect or damage them and speed up the process of color changing. To clean, use warm water and mild soap with a soft brush, then dry thoroughly and use a soft cloth to prevent scratching. Avoid cleaners and antibacterial soaps, and protect them from extreme temperatures and scratches when storing.
To keep your pieces in good condition, consider the following tips:
- Wait until your product is completely dry before putting on your gold-plated accessories after showering or using lotion or other body products.
- Apply perfume before putting on your jewelry to prevent chemicals from reacting with the metal and causing a change in appearance.
- Avoid wearing your gold-plated jewelry when sleeping, showering, or doing the dishes.
- Store your accessories in a jewelry case or wrap them in a soft cloth to prevent scratching when traveling or not wearing them.
- Do not swim in your plated pieces.
Note that our accessories are not fine jewelry, and plated metals will eventually lose their plating color. While this is a normal process, taking care of them can make them last longer.
